The music program at Pikes Peak Community College have planned multiple, free, music events where students at the college and their families are welcome to attend.

A Voice Class Recital will take place on December 4th at the Centennial Campus Theater from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The voice class students will be performing different solos and ensembles to showcase what they have learned this semester.

Another event held on December 4th is a Voice Recital where music majors from PPCC get to showcase their talent and perform vocally. The event will start at 7:30 pm and will end at 9:00 pm at the Centennial Campus Theater.

For those interested in classical musical instruments, an instrumental musical concert will begin at 5:30 pm at the Centennial Campus Theater on December 5th. Instruments from the guitar to the French horn will all be showcased by music students.

Piano majors will also be playing a variety of music on Centennial Campus Theater’s 9-foot concert piano. This event will be on December 5th starting at 7:30 pm.

On December 6th, PPCC’s flute choir and the string orchestra will be presenting a night of chamber music for guests at Centennial Campus Theater.

Finally, on December 7th, voice students from the college will be performing opera scenes from Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro” as well as, Kurt Weil’s “Street Scene”. These performances will take place at Centennial Campus Theater at 7:30 pm.

Guests for all events are encouraged to bring a canned food item as a donation. These donations will benefit other students through PPCC’s Food Pantry.
